The Challenge
How I can help influencers to identify and connect with other influencers and brands that align with their brand values and audience, making it challenging to form meaningful collaborations that can enhance their content and reach?

The Solution
A comprehensive "influencer dashboard" that enables influencers to manage their social activities and collaborate easily with preferred brands and fellow influencers.
Major Features of this dashboard
  • Activity page showcasing influencers’ niche (e.g., fashion, beauty, travel), follower count, & their social outreach across various platforms.
  • Search influencers/brands by niche, follower range, or location. and send connection requests: A simple process for sending and receiving collaboration requests.
  • Campaign dashboard for brands. A section for brands to post campaigns and influencers to apply.

The dashboard shows the influencer's niche and allows them to track social outreach across various platforms. Influencers can view their daily schedule and upcoming campaigns in both calendar and list formats, and categorize them by importance.
Easily discover brand campaigns based on your preferences
In this section, influencers have the ability to conduct searches for various brand campaigns while also applying filters to refine their results. This allows them to easily explore and find the specific opportunities that align with their interests and goals. Influencers also has the flexibility to create their own campaigns.
Network according to your preference
Influencers have the opportunity to connect and engage with like-minded individuals who share similar tastes, interests, and overall vibes. This allows them to build relationships with others who resonate with their unique style and outlook on life, fostering a sense of community among those with aligned perspectives.

Research
Understanding the problem
I wanted to know how influencers currently address these issues inorder to create a user-centric product. I did some desk research on the topic and summarised my findings in the form of user stories that illustrate how they navigate these issues:

As an influencer, I often struggle to find other creators who share my niche and values. I frequently browse social media platforms and networking groups to identify potential collaborators.
I attend industry events and webinars to network and seek collaborations, but this can be time-consuming and not all connections lead to fruitful partnerships.

When approached by brands for collaborations, I often have to clarify expectations through back-and-forth emails, which can lead to misunderstandings about campaign goals.
I rely on informal agreements via social media DMs or emails for partnerships, which sometimes leads to confusion about payment terms

I engage in multiple collaborations simultaneously, but managing these can become chaotic without a structured approach.
I co-create content with other influencers on platforms like Instagram but the lack of a dedicated space for collaboration makes it difficult to track engagement and success.
